In case you were out of town last Saturday and missed it, our chapter did a fantastic team job putting on a successful booth at the Community Festival on Main St. in downtown Lexington.
A number of chapter members helped out on this, but special thanks to membership committee chair Valerie Moliterno who worked wonders in putting this all together.
The festival was very well attended and we definitely increased our visibility by participating. There were a lot of supportive conversations throughout the day with neighbors, visitors, and complementary local organizations.
We also managed to raise some funds for the chapter through a homemade bake sale and the sale of chapter t-shirts. (We still have some large and x-large shirts available, and they’ll be at the next mtg.)
