From now through October 15, 2018 (the deadline to register to vote in Virginia for the November general election) the Rockbridge NAACP’s Political Action Committee is spearheading a voter registration drive. Member Jordan LaPointe and other volunteers are periodically setting up a table at central locations in Rockbridge/Lexington such as Kroger, Lime Kiln Theater and Davidson Park. We are using this opportunity to register new voters, provide information on voting rights restoration, and just raise the Rockbridge NAACP’s profile within our community.
